DOT Project
Description: For this project, we were given watercolors and coffee filters. We were also given oil pastels that we could use to draw on our coffee filters. I drew music notes and Rock 'n roll because I like to listen to Rock 'n roll music in my free time. I also use markers to draw on the coffee filter. When we were done drawing on our coffee filters, we took watercolors to blend everything that we drew on with oil pastels and markers.
Extension Activity: An activity I can do with this is to have students draw their names on the coffee filter and things that represent them. After the students are done creating their dots, they would present their dots to the class and explain what things represent them on their coffee filter. Finally, when all students are done presenting, I will hang up their dots so other students from the school can see their dots.
