Elements and Principles of Art

 ELEMENTS AND PRINCIPLES OF ART:

Description: For this activity, we were required to go out and take pictures that resembled the

12 elements and principles of art. We each had to take our own pictures but then created a

group presentation to show the class. The five that I chose to share are lines, shapes, texture,

space, and value.

Extension Activity: An activity that could help further this would be to mix all the pictures up

from the class and have the class try to decide which picture goes in the correct category. This

would give the students a variety of different pictures and they would have to know each

category to place it correctly.
