Hidden Safari Project

 Hidden Safari

Description: For this project, we were given a choice of an animal that we could find when we were on a safari. I chose a tiger and I had to draw the tiger upside down with a blue color pencil. When I was done coloring the tiger, I then took warm-colored crayons and drew designs on top of the tiger. This makes the tiger seem hidden to the naked eye. You could only see the tiger with special glasses.

Extension Activity: Students can offer a description of their animals that are hidden within the project and then offer an explanation of how this animal uses different elements/objects to blend in from their predators. Once they have done that the students will present their project to show that many animals need to blend in or camouflage within their environment to survive.
